East Prince Hospice Volunteer Training: will begin on Tuesday, September 16 and end on Tuesday, Oct. 14th. (9 sessions, Tuesday and Wednesdays evenings from 7-9 at Prince County Hospital) Dates are as follows: September 16,17,23,24,30 and Oct. 1,7,8, and 14. This comprehensive Hospice PEI training program is open to anyone interested in becoming a hospice volunteer. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes....it is never too early to start thinking about the shoeboxes and how each one has such an impact on a child. We are encouraging you to start shopping for your box or boxes now! School supplies are much cheaper this time of year and many summer items are on clearance, making this the ideal time to get started. If you pick up 2-3 items a week between now and early November, you will have enough items to fill a few boxes. We are planning something different this year so watch out for that information in the coming weeks.
