Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes: We are going to have a Christmas shoebox packing party in early November and would like everyone to start looking around for items to add to the boxes. Since we are doing them together, if you find a great deal, purchase as many of the item as you like to help fill several boxes. We will have a box at the welcome center so drop off items as you buy them. Our goal is 50 boxes but hope that is the minimum. It is $7 per box to ship them so donations for shipping or cash donations towards items to fill the boxes is greatly appreciated. We will have a list of items for the boxes on the bulletin board very soon but in the meantime, keep this in mind....choose items from the “something” list....something to love, for school, to wear, play with, for personal hygiene, and something special. More information will be coming soon.
