October 26, 2014 Announcements

 We are looking for anyone interested in doing a Red Cross standard First Aid and CPR course, sometime in the next month or two, during the evening and/or weekends. Course is 16 hours long and can be done in 1 or 2 weeks, cost is $95 plus HST. Please see Shelley if you or know someone who might be interested, 10 people minimum needed.

 East Prince Annual Hospice/Palliative Memorial service: Will take place Sunday October 26th at 3pm in Trinity United Church, 90 Spring St. Summerside, PE

 Youth Group: For K-6 Monday @ 6 p.m here at the church.

 Bible Study: Thursday @ 7 p.m. here at the church.

 Clinton View: Worship Service October 28 @ 2 p.m.

 Four Sunday afternoons this November held at Summerside Presbyterian Church. Performances begin at 2:30. See back bulletin board for dates.

 Fall Fair: November 1, 2014. This will be mainly organized by Valerie Spencer. Anyone interested in volunteering to help out with this event please speak to her. This event will be similar to the Easter Egg Hunt that was conducted in the spring.

Come join us for our Fall Fair and family fun on Saturday Nov 1st from 1-3 at Central Street Christian Church, 83 Central Street (beside Family Place) for games,crafts, cookie decorating, treats and lots of fun!
Everyone is welcome, hope to see you there! Come dressed as you are, no costumes. Our parking lot is behind the church.

 Men’s Breakfast: November 1 @ Granville Street Diner @ 8:30

 Roast Beef Dinner: Sponsored by Summerside Presbyterian Church will be held at New London Community Complex on Nov. 8 serving from 4-6 pm with take-outs available. Tickets $15 Adults, $10.00 children, available from Session members or the church office (902) 436-2557.

 Coats For Kids: November 15 @ Boys and Girls Club 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes: We will be having our packing party in mid November and opening it up to the community. We will be advertising it soon. Please bring any donations of items and place them in the box at the Welcome center. Keep in mind that each box also has a $7 shipping cost. There is a list of items to pack and not pack at the welcome table, please feel free to take home to help with your shopping. More information will be coming soon.

 The Annual Meeting of Canoe Cove Christian Camp, Inc.: Will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 3pm at the camp.

 Clinton View: Worship Service November 25 @ 2 p.m.

 Tyne Valley Community Choir: Will be performing November 30 @ 7 p.m. here at the church.

 Community Carol Sing: Held at Trinity December 7, 2014 at 7 pm.

South Lake Christian Church celebrates 130 years: Sunday, Oct. 19th, 11AM Special music by Montague "Men Can Sing". Food and social following the service.

30th Annual Ladies Retreat: October 24 – 26th @ Rodd Mill River Resort. Registration Fee: $25. Submit by Oct. 14.
