Communion Workshop: September 15th @ 7 p.m. for those who are interested in doing communion thoughts are to those who are interested in learning more about the communion service.
East Prince Hospice Volunteer Training: will begin on Tuesday, September 16 and end on Oct. 14th. (9 sessions, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7-9 at Prince County Hospital) Dates are as follows: Sept. 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and Oct. 1, 7, 8, and 14. This comprehensive Hospice PEI training program is open to anyone interested in becoming a hospice volunteer. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.... it is never too early to start thinking about the shoeboxes and how each one has such an impact on a child. We are encouraging you to start shopping for your box or boxes now! School supplies are much cheaper this time of year and many summer items are on clearance, making this the ideal time to get started. If you pick up 2-3 items a week between now and early November, you will have enough items to fill a few boxes. We are planning on getting together here at the church to fill shoeboxes with everything that has been collected.
