September 13, 2015 Announcements

 ATTENTION: PRINCE COUNTY HOSPITAL ‘THINKING OF YOU PACKAGES ARE NEEDED AGAIN! They are for people who enter hospital and are in need of some items. List of items needed are on back table and bulletin board. Box for items provided on back table.

 Maritime Christian College Convocation: TODAY @ 3 p.m.

 Men of the Harvest Singers: South Lake Christian Church are celebrating their 175th anniversary and are hosting the MEN OF THE HARVEST SINGERS TODAY @ 4PM. Men of the Harvest is a gospel group composed of 16 men from the greater Kensington Area who enjoy sharing music in four part harmony. An anniversary luncheon will follow. Please join us for this celebration of music.

 Youth Group: Starting Monday September 14th for 2 groups 1) Grade 1-6 @ 6-7 p.m. and 2) Grade 7-9 @ 7 -8 p.m.

 Hospice Volunteer Training: Prince County Hospital from Sept.15-Oct.13, every Tues. and Wed, evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm. To register or for more information, phone Judy Mac Dougall at 438-4231.

 Ladies Breakfast: LIFT ladies will be having breakfast at ANSON’S on Thursday Sept 17th @ 9 a.m. ALL LADIES WELCOME. Please sign sheet on back table if you plan on attending as we have to make reservations. It is important to sign sheet or phone 902 436 5529 or 902 436 3689 as we will not be phoning to remind you.  ParkHill Place: Worship Service September 22 @ 2 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help out with the manor services. If you are able to help please contact Murray or Wayne.

 Camp Work Day: Saturday Sept 26th, 9am-3pm there will be a big camp work day. There will be work on a couple of the buildings including roofing and repairs as well as shutting down water and closing up out buildings. There is additional cleaning in the main lodge to prepare for Fall also. We look forward to seeing everyone who can make it & there will be BBQ hot dogs for lunch.
