September 29, 2013 Announcements

Thinking of You Packages: We are again suggesting that you help those individual patients in need as they enter the Prince County Hospital with a special gift this Christmas. Box will be placed on the back table for your gifts in October and November. The following are suggestions: Shampoo, Conditioner, tooth brush, deodorant, brush and comb, or some of the following:
Children: PJ's, t-shirts, sleepers, book, sticker book, small blanket.
Teens: socks, nail file, small journal or book, slippers, non-scented lip balm.
Senior/Adult: shaving cream, nail file, slippers, socks, non-scented hand or foot cream or lip balm, deodorant.

5th Sunday Fellowship: Will be held at Crossroads Christian Church TODAY. This will also be their 25th Anniversary celebration. Time: 3 p.m. See back bulletin board for more information.

Ladies Bible Study: Ladies who signed up for the Bible Study on "Prayer" are reminded that the study begins Tuesday morning @ 10 a.m. Meet in the upstairs meeting room next to the Library. Workbooks will be distributed to participants today to the ladies who signed up early for the study. (Additional books will arrive shortly. We will photocopy the first lesson for those not getting books immediately.) Please bring your Bible (or borrow one from the church pews) to each study. Cost of workbooks is $10.

Ladies Fall Retreat: October 5th @ Central Christian Church, Charlottetown. Registration has to be in by October 2. For more information see the back bulletin board. Sign - up sheet is on the back table for those wishing to go.

Men's Breakfast: October 5th @ 8 a.m. @ Granville Street Diner.

Gospel Concert: With Grammy Award Winner: Larry Ford & guest. October 19th @ 7:30 at Trinity United Church, Summerside. Advance tickets $10. Call 436-4429. At door $12. See more information posted on the back bulletin board.

There will be a weekly Bible study beginning on Thursday evening, October 17th on the book of James at Doreen and Heber Rayner's house @ 7 p.m. This study is open to all interested and will be led by Shirley Moats.
