There is additional cleaning in the main lodge to prepare for Fall also. We look forward to seeing everyone who can make it & there will be BBQ hot dogs for lunch.

Some suggestions are pencils, erasers, colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons, pens (in blue, black, red and green ink), and solar calculators. It is also a great time for end of summer clearance sales on toys such as jump ropes, marbles, soccer balls and other balls, pumps for balls, sunglasses etc. A great item to put in every shoe box is a good quality plain t-shirt. It is suggested not to buy ones with characters or words (which could be scary to kids in foreign countries and have no meaning), anything plain, stripes or pretty designs such as flowers. Old Navy still has a good selection for only $4, keep in mind they will pass the t-shirts to family members, so quality is key. I can order online anytime if you wish to donate some money in the next few weeks specifically for t-shirts. Please look for the Christmas box at the welcome center to bring in your shoe box items as you purchase them.
